💆🏻♀️ While obsessing over the monk-turned-life-coach-and-podcaster-Jay Shetty and his daily pieces of wisdom, we bumped into his -much more interesting- wife, Radhi Devlukia (Shetty). And while Jay's pieces of wisdom are motivational and helpful in life - his wife, little miss Sunshine, Radhi Devlukia is on a whóóóóle other level.
☀️ Radhi is a ray of light and an infectious ball of energy, who consistently brightens our Instagram feeds with her natural joy for life. Radhi Devlukia gives her own daily pieces of wisdom - in a funny, authentic and heart-opening way. She shares scriptures and pieces of wisdom from Bhagavad Gita (one of the holy books of Hinduism that teaches universal truths related to principles on work, life, religion, philosophy and spirituality.) and shares her interpretation in an easy to understand and non-threatening way.
“What is life without service? That’s the best thing I learned in this Vedic culture and on this path, is that everything is about service and we get so much joy from serving other people than we do in taking. Whatever we can do to facilitate us being the best versions of ourselves is such a beautiful practice and meditation to keep throughout your life.”
🍫 Next to spreading happiness through spirituality and wisdom, Radhi is an avid lover of Ayurveda which spills over into her love for vegan food. Not the I-only-eat-salads-tofu-and-chickpeas kinda vegan but the-give-me-more-cheese-and-bread-and-chocolate type of vegan. How can we not love a girl who understands that the way to one's heart is through bread, cheese and chocolate?
🦋 She seems a little butterfly, having her focus spread of multiple things (e.g. cooking, spirituality, dancing) trying out different things - as long as they bring happiness. Whether that's an ASMR evening routine
🎄 To singing Christmas carols to their friends and family while quarantining
🤷🏻♀️ It's refreshing to see Radhi thrive by spreading positive energy about family and relationship values, falling in love with a monk who didn't seem to have much to offer other than spiritual wisdom when they met, and not really knowing or caring about make-up.
💚 Radhi gives us hope that not everyone needs to aspire to become a Greta Thunberg but can spread happiness and "butterfly" their way through life, testing out different things, all the while adopting a positive approach to it. And the hope that as long you have your heart at the right place and have good intentions, while not being swayed too much by what others think of you, everything will turn out to be fine.
👯♀️ Have we become fangirls? Yes, yes we definitely have become.
💥⚡️✨Happy start of the week ladies, keep laughing, stay true to yourself and don't take life too seriously.
